Lake Country is a district municipality with a population of approximately 13,000 in the Okanagan Valley region of British Columbia, Canada. It is a part of the Central Okanagan Regional District, and of the Kelowna metropolitan area. The city of Kelowna lies to the south, while the city of Vernon lies to the north.
To see lake country, you need to do at least the 2 hour experience. The area by water is void of all the bussy boat traffic, and is generally pretty calm.
